Pen Type-A® - Classic Stainless Ruler

Pen Type-A is a minimal pen and ruler sleeve from CW&T, designed and built to last for generations. This Classic version has an imperial and metric ruler engraved directly onto the stainless steel sleeve.

Machined at a multi-generation machine shop in Vermont, the pen slides into its sleeve and is held by a magnet, producing a slight popping sound when removed thanks to the pneumatic seal created by its high machining tolerances. In 2023 Pen Type-A was added to the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum's permanent collection.
