A few materials come up again and again across our catalog, and each one is chosen for a reason. Titanium, used in Craighill and CW&T's EDC pieces, is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, and develops a soft patina with handling rather than wearing out. Powder-coated steel, seen in Service Projects' tableware and HAY's storage lines, resists chipping far better than plain paint. Slip-cast porcelain, used by Afterwork Industries and several of our Hübsch pieces, is fired at high heat for a dense, durable body that holds a cleaner glaze than lower-fire ceramics.
None of these choices are about looking premium for its own sake. They're about objects that hold up to daily use and age well instead of degrading.
